Une nouvelle petite version va arriver bientôt. La 2.5.12946.0 va apporter principalement des correctifs critiques pour SimDirector et quelques menues éléments pour SimConnect et les objets d’environnement…

Les mises à jour de la V3 n’imposent plus forcément une réinstallation complète si on a une v3 précédente.
Pour ce faire, il suffit de procéder comme suit:
1 - Désinstaller le Lockheed Martin Prepar3D V3 client actuel (cf le panneau des programmes installés)
2 - Prendre l’installateur msi (Install_clien.msi) depuis son compte client de Prepar3d:

La 3.2 est sortie la nuit dernière. De nouvelles vraiment intéressantes du côté des cartes graphiques (Vincent va être content) et d’autres plus anecdotiques et futiles :stuck_out_tongue:
Pareil que pour la 3.1, désinstaller l’ancien client puis installer le nouveau suffit.
Pour les fanas d’ORBX, pas besoin de nouvelles versions d’installateurs et ObjectFlow sera mis à jour sous peu via FTX Central (v2 bien entendu)

Je suis loin de mon PC et c’est tant mieux. Comme ça, je vais laisser les essuyeurs-de-plâtre, essuyer les plâtres et attendre la mise à jour d’ObjectFlow, ASN (simforums.com/forums/prepar3 … tml#346807) et FSUIPC (qui est compatible 3.2 néanmoins) ?

Pour le SLI, je ne suis pas sûr que ce soit très intéressant, parce que le premier concerne surtout les utiisateurs qui n’ont pas de SLI, quand au second… à voir.

Objecflow est désormais compatible avec la 3.2. Comme d’hab, il se faufilera à l’ouverture de FTX centrale

Je profite de l’ajout d’un nouveau ssd pour faire une installation complete en 3.2.
Wow, il y a un gain en fluidité. Je peux meme voler avec 4 fenetres différentes ouvertes sur 3 ecrans avec une carte Fury X. Que du bonheur !

Installé hier la mise à jour du Client et du Content en version 3.2.3.16769 ainsi que quelques compléments Active Sky Next SP 4.1 build 5913, ObjectFlow, FSUIPC 4.949h, F1 GTN 1.05…

Et je n’ai rien vu, à l’œil nu, en terme d’amélioration de la performance ou bien encore de l’Antialiasing comme on le lit beaucoup sur le forum AVSIM. Il y a certainement des choses sous le capot qu’un utilisateur lambda comme moi ne peut percevoir. Ah si un truc ! On retrouve après plusieurs années, les vagues des bords de côtes sur les découpes par défaut (rien sur SOCAL par exemple). Elles sont plutôt moyennement réussies.

Je précise que je suis déjà ravi de mon P3D et des améliorations notamment du SLI depuis plusieurs versions :wink: Je suis aussi enthousiasme d’avoir choisi P3D, c’est à dire un produit qui évolue.

Faut prendre un peu de recul sur AVSIM où y a beaucoup de champions avec des machines mal bricolées pour qui il ne se passe jamais rien ou en pire à chaque changement rigo(- .
Une des pistes sérieuses actuellement sur les faibles perfs vient de l’utilisation d’éléments hérités de FS9 dans certaines scènes surtout les objets animés qui occasionnent des artéfacts avec les cartes nVidia (pour certains pilotes de carte)

Ah ? Certains ont eu de mauvais performance après la mise à jour 3.2 ? Personnellement, autant je n’ai pas senti (je n’ai pas fait de benchmark) d’amélioration, autant je n’ai pas senti d’amélioration sur le plan des performances. Mais il faudrait mener un test sérieux avant-après, ce que je suis bien incapable de faire.

Depuis le 1er Juin, passage à la version 3.3.3.17556. Un tout petit saut qui n’a d’intérêt que le mode Multichannel
Il permet pour une licence pro plus de connecter un PC master à d’autres PC slaves pour déporter les instruments un peu comme WideFS.

Oui, cette version est dédiée aux vrais pros. Pour le prix d’une seule licence, on peut l’installer sur chaque cluster d’un gros ensemble comme ceux de l’armée car les installations en slave n’ont pas besoin d’activation.
Sinon pour la râle des petits clients, c’est le lot des mods tiers spécifiques ou des pilotes de matériels non correctement mis à jours. Pourtant, y a du monde en béta test

Voila, chargé et installé.
Pas de gros changements visuels à première vue, pas de changement de l’interface non plus de détecté.

Difficile de dire si c’est plus fluide ou pas, ça l’était déjà avant :slight_smile:

J’ai jamais encore fait de MAJ de P3D mais à chaque fois ré-installe from scratch.
J’avoue de le process de LM ne m’est pas très clair, ne maîtrisant pas parfaitement l’anglais.
Je suis en 3.2, donc je n’ai que le “client” à dé-installer et installer le client 3.4 ?
Quid du “scenery” et du “content”, à quoi servent 'ils ?
