He has composed and arranged music for over 200 films and television series, including the Academy Award-winning film The Secret in Their Eyes. He has also composed and arranged music for numerous television series, including the popular Argentine soap opera El Secreto de Puente Viejo. Ayala was born in Posadas, Misiones, Argentina, and began his musical career at the age of 15, playing the guitar and singing in local bars. He soon began to compose and arrange music for films and television series, and in the early 1980s, he moved to Buenos Aires to pursue a career in music. Ayala has won numerous awards for his work, including the Argentine Academy of Cinematography Arts and Sciences Award for Best Original Music for the film The Secret in Their Eyes. He has also been nominated for several other awards, including the Latin Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Album for his album El Secreto de Puente Viejo.
