Reséndez was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on October 14, 1978. He studied acting at the Centro de Educación Artística de Televisa. He made his acting debut in the television series Mujer, Casos de la Vida Real in 1998. He has since appeared in numerous films and television series, including El Crimen del Padre Amaro, El Infierno, El Señor de los Cielos, El Chema, and La Reina del Sur. Reséndez has been nominated for several awards, including the Ariel Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in El Infierno.
